Celeste, Texas -- Graveside services for Dwight Dempsey Spoonemore, 69-year-old Celeste resident, is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 5, 2010 at the Celeste/Hogeye Cemetery.  Charles E. Wrenn will officiate.  Family visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel in Leonard. 

Mr. Spoonemore was born June 3, 1941 in Greenville.  His parents were Jack Dempsey and Billie Maxine Tadlock Spoonemore.  He passed away Sunday August 1, 2010 at his residence.  

He is survived by his father:  Jack Dempsey Spoonemore of Greenville; a son:  Jimmy Spoonemore; a sister and a brother:  Sherry Price and Kenneth Spoonemore of Celeste; a grandson:  Taylor Spoonemore; a nephew:  Kelly Spoonemore of Celeste and a niece:  Kristi Phipps of Merit. 

He was preceded in death by his mother:  Billie Maxine Spoonemore.
