“Free?  Everything is really free?” asked a patron at last year’s Granny’s Attic.  For ten years members of the Bonham Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have collected and sorted all kinds of donated clothing and household goods.  They then open the doors of their church to the public for a free “garage sale.”

This year’s Granny’s Attic will be held on Saturday, August 7th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Bonham Ward’s Meetinghouse located at 1540 S. Hwy 78.

“We are excited to again offer Granny’s Attic to the people of Fannin County,” stated chairperson Yolinda Huber.  “We have the most donations we have ever had for this year’s give-away!  We began Granny’s Attic to help families in need with school clothes, and it has grown from there.  We look forward to being of service to our community again this year.”
