See stars swing, slide, steal and score for nine innings at the ninth-annual Reebok Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game on Saturday, June 26, at 6 p.m. at the Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco (7300 RoughRiders Trail)! Summertime sizzlers such as Mike Modano (Dallas Stars center and seven-time NHL All-Star), Brenden Morrow (Dallas Stars captain), DeMarcus Ware (Dallas Cowboys linebacker and two-time NFL Pro Bowler), Mark Cuban (Dallas Mavs owner), Jason Kidd (Dallas Mavs point-guard and 10-time NBA All-Star), Drew Pearson (former Dallas Cowboys All-Pro wide receiver), Warren Sapp (former NFL All-Pro defensive tackle and Super Bowl champion) and other celebs and pro athletes will take the field donning authentic baseball uniforms for an unforgettable star-studded event.
Proceeds will benefit the children’s charities of The Heroes Foundation and The Mike Modano Foundation.
Two baseball teams, the Blue Socks and White Socks, each made up of 15+ celebrity players and 15+ amateurs, will play "hard-charging, umpires umpping, trash-talking, uniform-wearing, base-stealing, home run-hitting, nine-inning, authentic BASEBALL!" The game will broadcast on 103.3 ESPN with play-by-play by Ben and Skin.
Tickets are $5, $7, $12 and $15 and went on sale Tuesday, May 4, at Ticketmaster (1-800-745-3000 or ticketmaster.com) or at the Dr Pepper Ballpark Box Office during office hours. Will call will open at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 26. Tickets also will be available at the door the day of the game.
