Rita Fulmer returns to Music in the Garden, Thursday, May 20, at 7 pm, bringing her country, bluegrass, Patsy Cline, and gospel music back to Bonham again this year. Rita closed the concert series last spring to a packed crowd, who thoroughly enjoyed Rita and Friends.

At the age of three, Fulmer was singing at Hebron Baptist Church in Bells, where her grandfather pastored. Just a few years later, she began singing at oprys and pageants, establishing a reputation of being an excellent vocalist.

Currently, she is focusing on presenting gospel music in local area churches. A new CD of her music was recently released. Fulmer, her husband Ty, and their four children reside in Ivanhoe, Texas.

Performing during intermission will be 13 year old Abby Collida, who is a tremendous vocalist, featuring country music. Collida is the daughter of Steve and JoAnna Collida, of Warrior Tire and Appliance in Bonham. She is a seventh grade student at Celeste ISD and is involved in basketball, track, FFA, and student council. Abby sings in her youth choir at Wesley United Methodist Church in Greenville.

The Music in the Garden concert series is scheduled for every Thursday night, from 7 pm to 8:30 pm through June 17.
