In the third inning, Tye McKinney singled, stole second and scored on a single by Addison Williams to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead.
Dodd City made it a one-run game in the fifth frame when Seth Stephens doubled and then raced home on a single by Landon Liebil.
Blue Ridge's Zack Gidney answered with a solo shot over the left field fence in the sixth inning and the Tigers went on to claim a 3-1 district victory.
Dodd City's Landon Darwin held Blue Ridge to four hits but was tagged with the loss.
Blue Ridge ( 9-2 ) is now 2-0 in district, while the loss evens Dodd City's record at 1-1.
