More than 400 young people turned out March 9 for the first Hawaiian Falls Job Fair at Firewheel Church in Garland and another 300 at The Colony Rec Center.

Hawaiian Falls, which has locations in Garland, The Colony, and Mansfield, will open to the public Memorial Day weekend. Each of the three area waterparks will employ more than 200 employees for the summer season, including lifeguards, ride attendants, cashiers, ticket takers, cooks, supervisors, housekeeping and maintenance workers.

Half a dozen more Job Fairs are scheduled between now and April 3.

A complete Job Fair schedule is available at http://www.hfalls.com/waterpark/jobfair.html.
