The Ector Lady Eagles launched their softball season this past weekend at the 2010 Celeste Softball Tournament this past weekend where Ector went 2-1 and came home with the second-place trophy.

In the Lady Eagles' first game, Lone Oak came out on top, 7-0.

Ector let their bats do the talking in a 25-2 win over Celeste in game two.

The Lady Eagles were just as impressive in a 15-0 victory over Greenville Christian on Saturday.

Ector senior Kristina Williams was named best outfielder in the tournament, while teammate Cristi Abbot was selected as the best pitcher in the tournament.

The Ector Lady Eagles (2-1) will be back in action this weekend in the annual Bland Softball Tournament.
