Master Gardener Expo still accepting vendors

The Fannin County Master Gardeners 2010 Garden, Lawn & Home EXPO is scheduled for Saturday, March 27 from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Multi Purpose Complex on Hwy 56 West of Bonham at FM 87.

Applications for vendor booths during the EXPO are still being accepted with limited space available. If you are looking for a way to promote your business or organization and showcase your products or service, the Expo exhibit booth is an excellent way. Vendors are encouraged to sell their products at the Expo. Booth space is only $50.

Contact the Fannin County Extension Office at 903-583-7453 for more information about the EXPO, being a vendor, or setting up an exhibit booth.

The Expo is open to the public and will have notable speakers presenting talks on topics such as Beneficial Insects, Home Orchard and Small Fruit Production, Plants that Beat the Heat and keep on Blooming, and Successful Vegetable Gardening, throughout the day. Door prizes, silent auction, Texas AgriLife Extension exhibit and educational publications, 4-H concessions and Junior Master Gardeners children activities will all be a part of the Expo.

Admission will be $4:00. Advance tickets can be purchased at the Fannin County Extension Office, 210 S. Main, Bonham, or from any Fannin County Master Gardener. Proceeds go toward local scholarships, and Fannin County Master Gardener projects and educational events.
