Come hear the live sounds of the 2010 Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Honor Choir, McKinney Boyd's A Cappella Choir in concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, February 8 at Custer Road Methodist Church, 6601 Custer Road, in Plano.
The McKinney Boyd High School A Cappella Choir was one of only three choirs in the state to receive an invitation to perform at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention this weekend in San Antonio. Being a TMEA Invited Choir is the highest honor that can be given to any musical group in the state of Texas.
The choir is under the direction of Choir Director Melissa L. Peden and Associate Director Stephen Gusukuma.
