THE BONHAM CITY COUNCIL WILL BE MEETING FOR THE PURPOSE OF REGULAR MEETING

 

DATE OF MEETING:             February 8, 2010

TIME OF MEETING:              5:30 P.M.                 

LOCATION OF MEETING:   Bonham City Hall - 301 East Fifth Street

 

AGENDA

Call to Order and Invocation

 

1.         Consider and take action to approve the minutes of the January 11 meeting.

 

2.         Consider and take action to accept financial report for month ending January 31, 2010.  

 

3.         Citizens Opportunity to Speak:  [The City Council invites persons with comments or observations to briefly address the Council for the limited purpose of determining whether the matter should be referred to staff for study and response and/or be placed on a future meeting agenda.  State law prohibits the City Council from considering deliberations on any item not listed on the posted City Council Agenda.]

 

4.         Presentation honoring Mrs. Betty Campbell.

 

5.         Consider and take action to accept audit and financial statements as prepared by McClanahan & Holmes, LLP for fiscal year period ending September 30, 2009.  

 

6.         Receive January report from Bonham Tourism Advisory Committee.

 

7.         Receive update and discuss proposed countywide animal shelter. 

 

8.         Consider and take action to award bid for Water Meters and Fixed-Read AMI System.

 

9.         Consider and take action on interlocal agreement with the Fannin County Multipurpose Complex Board for parking lot pavement.

 

10.       Consider and take action to appoint member to Planning and Zoning Commission to fill vacancy with term to expire June 30, 2010.

 

11.       Consider and take action on Change Order No. 1 on Wastewater Collection System Rehabilitation Project - 2010 CWSRF TWDB ARRA #72506.

 

12.       Receive annual Racial Profiling Report from the Bonham Police Department.

 

13.       Consider and take action on the following:  (1) Order a municipal election to be held on May 8, 2010 to elect City Council Members from Ward Nos. 2, 3, and 4; (2) Appoint an Early Voting Clerk; (3) Designate May 3rd and 4th as days for extended hours early voting; and (4) Designate the location of the polling place.
