In a tough ball game, the Savoy Junior High Cardinals lost to Dodd City Thursday night. The contest was tied at the end of the first 3-3. The visiting Hornets pulled ahead in the second, 14-7. The two teams stayed even thru the 3rd with the Hornets leading 21-14 at the end of the 3rd.
The Hornets pulled away in the 4th to finally defeat the Cards 36-24.
The Cards were led by Braden Phillip's 10, Justin Berbue's 7, Tristan
Allen's 2, Sam Baca's 2, Riley Neal's 2, and Tanner Garrison's 1.
The Cardinals finished the year 9-4 and tied for second in the district. They also placed second in the Ector JH tournament. All in all they had a very good year.
