FORT WORTH—The Kimbell Art Museum presents “Picturing Still Lifes,” a Friday Workshop for adults, on February 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. This program combines thematic, docent-guided gallery tours with hands-on art activities.
Marvel at the technical finesse and innovation of artists’ depictions of luxury imports and common household items before creating your own watercolor still-life painting. This workshop is offered in conjunction with the special exhibition From the Private Collections of Texas: European Art, Ancient to Modern.
The materials fee is $15 ($12 for Kimbell members). A light snack from the Buffet Restaurant is included. To register, contact the education department at 817-332-8451, ext. 297.
