“We were up against 50 of the best designed and best produced projects in the country,” said Gary Alvey, vice president, Fritchman & Associates. “We are proud of how our project stacked up against the top Cast Stone producers in the country. The purpose of this award is to recognize the architect’s use of Cast Stone, and the producer’s ability to carry out the design with a quality product.”
Michael Adams of Firmitas Residential Design Services in Farmers Branch was the architect on the project. Garry Van Trease, Monogram Elite Homes of Highland Village, was the builder. This was Fritchman & Associates' second CSI award since joining the institute in 2002.
The company also won several awards at the Central Texas Masonry Contractors Association last year. Fritchman & Associates began producing cast stone in 1991, and moved into their current plant in 2000.
