12-01-09 Sergeant Barker responded to assault complaint in the 14000 block of Highway 34 in the Ladonia area. The deputy made contact with a female victim. There were 3 other individuals located at the scene when Sergeant Barker arrived. The female victim and 2 of the witnesses told Sergeant Barker that her son had slapped her in the face and then threw her to the floor. The suspect was not at the scene when deputies arrived. The victim told deputies that she and her son had gotten into a verbal argument and her son assaulted her and left the residence. The victim was transported to the hospital in Greenville by Bonham EMS. Case is under investigation.
12-03-09 Sergeant Woods responded to a theft complaint on CR 5025. The complainant told Woods that someone had cut the lock on his storage building and stolen a generator and a trailer. The complainant told Sergeant Woods that the person(s) that stole his property had cut the lock on his storage building to gain entry.
12-04-09 Deputy Costa responded to a theft complaint on Lake View Drive. The complainant told Deputy Costa that his son had stolen several items from him and pawned or sold these items in Denison. The complainant’s son was at the residence when Costa arrived. The son was questioned regarding the missing items and confessed to Deputy Costa that he did take the missing property. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Fannin County Jail.
12-07-09 Deputy Mueller responded to a burglary call on CR 4550. The complainant told the deputy that an unknown person(s) had kicked in the back door of his residence while he was not at home on the 7th and stolen 2 handguns. The complainant told Deputy Mueller that nothing else was missing from the home. Total loss $1300.00
