Morgan McNatt continued her torrid scoring streak by tossing in a game-high 21 points to help her Bland Lady Tigers defeat a tough North Hopkins team, 53-49 in the opening round of the 15th Annual Bland Invitational Basketball Tournament.
North Hopkins had a 10-7 lead after the first quarter and a 23-17 advantage at halftime.
Bland began reeling in their opponent by putting up 17 points in the third period.
The Lady Tigers were still down 36-34 going into the fourth quarter, but Bland's offense knocked down 19 points in the final frame to rally past North Hopkins for a 53-49 victory.
Kailee Warren and Hannah Black each had eight points for Bland, with Natalie Reyna and Michelle Estrada both finishing with four points apiece. Melea Rainey and Cheyenne Phipps each contributed three points and Katie Hightower tossed in two points.
For North Hopkins, T Hall scored 17 and C Hall had 15 points.
