Mesquite Championship Rodeo offers free admission to active members of the military and their families at first-ever Thanksgiving rodeo Nov. 27

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, the Mesquite Championship Rodeo is offering free admission to all active members of the military and their immediate families at the first ever Thanksgiving Rodeo. Families with a solider serving abroad are also eligible for free attendance. A valid military identification card is required to secure free admission.
The Thanksgiving Rodeo is guaranteed to be a great show with some of the nation's top cowboys on hand to compete, including:
- J.W. Harris, reigning world-champion and world number one bull rider
- Will Lowe, three-time world-champion and defending world-champion bareback rider
- Taos Muncy, 2007 world-champion saddle bronc rider
Entertaining the crowd will be Troy "Wild Child" Lerwill thrilling spectators with his spectacular motorcycle riding and announcer Andy Stewart of Monroe, LA, currently nominated for professional rodeo announcer of the year.
