In the consolation game of the 6th Annual Glen Fields Invitational Basketball Tournament, the Trenton Lady Tigers (1-4)  took on the Lady Tigers from Blue Ridge.  Trenton took an early lead and at the end on the first period held an 8-2 lead. 

But in the second period, Blue Ridge outscored Trenton 15-6 to go in at the half leading 17-14.  The third period saw each team play solid defense with each team scoring nine points each and ending the third with a score of 26-23 in favor of Blue Ridge.

In the final period, Trenton could not get things going and Blue Ridge pulled away with a 43-23 win. 

Leading Trenton scorers were Cessna Reed with nine points and seven rebounds, Alexis Somers with five points, Casey Beezley and Joyce Garrison each had four points, Marla Frazier had three points, and Gabie Galvan finished with two points. 

The Trenton Lady Tigers will be back in action on Monday night at home against Ector.  Then on Tuesday night at home they will take on Leonard.  Game time each night starts at 4:30 pm with JV girls followed by JV boys, then varsity teams will take the floor.  This will be last action for the Lady Tigers before the Thanksgiving break.
