The Fannin County Museum of History located three blocks south of the Courthouse Square in the old Texas & Pacific Railroad Depot is proud to announce new displays.
Jean Dodson, the museum curator has recently changed the clothing displays in the Peeler Room.
Exhibits in the Charlie Christian Room placed in display cases are Thanksgiving and Christmas Cards from bygone eras.

A family from Arkansas recently donated ephemera related to an Army Air Corp Cadet who trained at Jones Field during WWII. Personal items from his service are also on display.
Another exhibit soon to go up is a group of sketches done by Casey Grimes. Casey grew up in Fannin County, worked in Bonham, and had a keen eye for things historical.

The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday 12:00PM to 4:00PM. There is no entry fee but donations are accepted. The museum has a small inventory of books and maps for sale to help support museum operations.
