Sherman, Texas -- Funeral services for Mary Frances Harrington, 63-year-old Sherman resident, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday November 18th at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel in Leonard.  Burial will be in the West Hill Cemetery at Sherman.  Family visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 17 at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. 

Mrs. Harrington was born January 9, 1946 at Celeste, Texas.  Her parents were Preston “Press” and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Hanna Johnson.  She was a high school graduate and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church of Sherman.  She passed away Friday, November 13 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. 

She is survived by her companion:  John Wortman of Sherman; her daughter:  Loretta Ann Braden of Sherman; her granddaughters:  Amanda Earnhart and husband Tony, Jr. of Ector and Leslie Braden of Sherman; her great-grandchildren:  Tony Earnhart, III and Breanna Sue Harvey of Ector.  She is also survived by numerous other relatives and close friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents:  Press and Lizzie Johnson, her husband:  James L. “Butch” Johnson and her sisters:  Geneva McLarry and Lois Johnson.
