During the past football season, the Bonham Warrior football team visited Finley-Oates Elementary School to implement a program named, “Reading With A Warrior.” 

On Fridays, the 2009 Purple Warriors went to different classrooms and visited with our elementary students.  The visits consisted of reading to the students, performing skits, having lunch with them or simply having a question and answer session with the students. 

The Warriors would like to thank the teachers of Finley-Oates and the students in the classrooms for allowing us to come over and spend some time with them.  We had an excellent time and look forward to continuing the program next year.
