Bonham, Texas -- Funeral services for Jewel Williams, 87, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009 at the Bradford Chapel A.M.E. Church in Bonham under the direction of Wise Funeral Home.  Rev. Flora Evans will officiate.  Burial will follow in St. Mark’s Cemetery in Dodd City, TX.  Jewel passed away Friday, November 6, 2009 at Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham. 

Jewel was born March 5, 1922 in Oklahoma, the son of John and Lucy Branch.  He married Dosie Perry who preceded him in death.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Junior Branch and a sister, Willie Jean Carter.  Jewel was formerly employed with the railroad and enjoyed fishing.

2 Brothers:  Edward Branch of McKinney

                Othy Branch of Bonham

Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews 

Pallbearers will be Randal Bragg, John Bragg, Bobby Lewis, Richard Gray, Lynwood Brown and Jamie Lewis.
