5.      PRESENTATION BY CITIZEN:

Bob Hillerby to give thanks to the City of Tom and the Tom Bean Volunteer Fire Department during the recent flooding at his home.

6.    PRESENTATION BY MAYOR: 

Mayor to present certificate to employee of the Month.

7.    APPROVE CONSENT AGENDA: 

All of the following items on the Consent Agenda are considered to be self-explanatory by the Council and will be enacted with one motion.  There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Council Member or citizen so request.  For a citizen to request removal of an item, a speaker card must be filled out and submitted to the City Secretary.

7.1       October 12, 2009 regular session.

7.2       Accept resignation of City Prosecutor, Matt Sullivan.

7.3       Approve financials.

8.  BUSINESS

8.1       Consider and act upon adopting Ordinance 2009-03 Recertification of Occupancy Inspection and Customer Service Inspection.

8.2       Consider and act upon Resolution No. Casting votes to elect candidates to serve as members of the Grayson Central Appraisal District Board of Directors.

8.3       Consider and act upon hiring Laura Gibson as City Prosecutor.

9.  EXECUTIVE SESSION

Council may adjourn to Executive Session in accordance with article

551.074 Personnel Matters of the Government Code of the State of Texas to discuss

the following:

9.1       Police Department’s work schedules and weekend rotations.

10.1    Report from Police Dept

Field Activity, Gas Log and Workforce Commission
