Dodd City Independent School District received the following Gold Performance Acknowledgments for the 2009 school year from the Texas Education Agency. 

These acknowledgments recognize districts and campuses for high academic performance on indicators other than those used for accountability ratings. Dodd City ISD received acknowledgment in 10 of the 13 designated district areas. These acknowledgments are a result of the high expectations and hard work of the faculty, staff, students and parents of the Dodd City Independent School District.
