A memorial service for Nicholas Anthony Carty, 21-year-old Whitewright resident will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday November 3, 2009 at the Trenton church of Christ.  Nick was born April 4, 1988 at Lewisville, Texas.  His parents were Tony and Cynthia Harris Carty.  He died October 31, 2009 at the Wilson N. Jones Hospital at Sherman, Texas. 

Nick was a very creative person and so full of life.  He always knew how to make you laugh or smile in the toughest times.  No one knew what was going to happen next with Nick.  He was carefree, loving and a true gift from God.  He will always be missed and loved so very much but he is now in a peaceful better place with no more pain. 

He is survived by his parents, Tony and Cynthia Carty, of Whitewright and his sister, Jessica Archuletta and her husband Mark of Whitewright.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Lana Harris and Helen Osborne.
