DURANT, Okla. - Southeastern opened the match by taking the first set, but Abilene Christian showed why they are the No. 2 team in the Lone Star Conference by coming from behind to hand the Savage Storm a 3-1 loss on Senior Night.

Southeastern will finish out the season with a two-match road-swing beginning Thursday with a 7 p.m. match against Texas Woman's and ending on Saturday with a 2 p.m. match Texas A&M-Commerce.

SE is still in the hunt for an LSC playoff berth, which would be bolstered greatly by ending the season with a pair of wins.

Against the Wildcats, Destiny Brown turned in a 14 kill performance to lead the team, while Jordan Jesberg added 11 kills and Brittany McDonald chipped in 10.

Alex Cassell finished the night with 28 assists, while Gabby Ortiz got the senior night start and tallied 11 assist in just over one set of playing time.

Jordan Jesberg completed another double-double with a game-high 20 digs, while Lunden Azuara, who was playing libero for the injured Raelynn Beaty, added 16.

SE opened the match with a 25-22 win in the first set. ACU responded by winning the next three by scores of 25-19, 25-18 and 25-22.
