North Grayson 4-H Club members collecting coats for people in need

The monthly meeting of the newly formed North Grayson 4-H Club was held October 26. The meeting was called to order by 13-year-old president Tanner Lantz.  The club welcomed some new members.  Caylan Vickers taught the club the 4-H Pledge.
 
Members voted to participate in a coat drive for a club project. Coats will be collected  for people who need them for the coming cold weather. Donations of clean coats can be made in Denison at AAA Storage thru November 23.  Vice president Bobbie Arnett taught the club a new "get to know you" game. Secretary/treasure  Madison Kelly reported that the club has zero money in the club account, but will work on fundraising ideas. 
 
Grayson County Extension Agent Chrissy Daniel visited the club and spoke with members and parents.
 
The club meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 6 PM. The meeting place is in Denison at the Salvation Army/ B&G Club  2020 Scullin Ave. The next meeting will be November  23, 2009.
