Deputy Mueller responded to a burglary call on FM 897. The complainant told the deputy that someone had cut the lock on his pasture gate, entered his shop building and stolen his Yamaha ATV. Approximately 3 days subsequent to the initial burglary report Investigator Brian and Deputy Scott were able to locate the ATV along with some other stolen property on CR2130. The stolen ATV was returned to the complainant. Case is under investigation.

Deputy Barker stopped to assist a motorist located on State Highway 121. Barker made contact with the driver and after speaking with him the driver was found to be in possession of illegal drugs. The illegal drugs were located on the driver’s person. At this point the driver was arrested. The arrested individual was taken into custody and transported to the Fannin County jail.

While on patrol on State Highway 121 Deputy Williams passed 2 individuals walking. Deputy Williams heard the male subject yell something as he passed. Williams turned around and made contact with the 2 individuals; 1 male and 1 female. Williams asked both subjects if they needed assistance to which they replied no. Both subjects gave the deputy their respective name and date of birth. Williams checked for subjects and found that there was a warrant for the male for aggravated sexual assault. The male was arrested for the outstanding warrant. He was also found to be in possession of marijuana as well as prescription hydrocodone, which was not his. The subject was transported to the County jail without incident.

Deputy Costa responded to an address at Lake Bonham regarding a burglary. The complainant at the residence told Deputy Costa some unknown person(s) had entered her residence and stolen 2 DVD players, but no other items were missing. Case is under investigation.


Deputies responded to a man with a gun call in the Ladonia area. When deputies arrived at the complainant’s residence they were told by the complainant that an individual she knows drove by her residence and pointed a handgun at her. The complainant ran into her house and called the sheriff’s office. Deputies located the vehicle described by the complainant, as well as the named suspect. A loaded 9MM pistols was located in the vehicle owned by the suspect. The suspect was subsequently arrested for terroristic threat and brought to the County jail.

Sergeant Robinson responded to a disturbance call on CR3755. When Robinson arrived at the scene he found that 2 female subjects had been in a verbal argument that became physical prior to the arrival of the deputy. During the investigation it was determined that a third party had separated the 2 females and another person had called 911. After investigating the incident at the scene 1 female was arrested and transported to the County jail. The other subject was treated at the hospital and subsequently arrested.
