Bonham, Texas -- Memorial services and a celebration of life for Mary Geneath Graham, age 90, if Bonham, will be held at the Activity Center of the Northside Church of Christ at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 31, 2009. Mr. Carl Dye will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Gum Springs Cemetery, east of Lamasco. Mary Graham passed away at Bonham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bonham on Saturday, October 3, 2009.
Miss Graham was born December 13, 1918, in Hudsonville, Texas, to James Michael Graham and Bessie Rosemond King Graham. She attended Dotson, Lamasco, and Bonham Schools, graduating from Bonham High School.
Miss Graham received Bachelors and Masters Degrees from East Texas State Teachers College. When she first began teaching, she taught at several community schools in Fannin County: Dotson, Carson, Bartley Woods, Oakland, and Randolph. She also taught the first grade and special education classes at Fredericksburg and Schertz, Texas and retired from the Irving School District.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Maxine Robertson and brothers, Charles Graham, John Graham, and Hollis Graham.
She is survived by a sister, Fern Bossen of San Antonio, Texas, nieces: Robbie Graham of San Antonio, Texas, Diane Childers of Mesquite, Texas, Mary Belcher and husband Jim Belcher of Telephone, Texas; nephews: Jim Graham and wife Barbara of Hyrum, Utah, Billy Robertson of Ravenna, Texas; Bobby Robertson and wife Virginia of Rockwall, Texas, Jesse Robertson and wife Linda of Mesquite, Texas, and David Robertson and wife Jeannie of Telephone, Texas. Surviving cousins are: Jo Graham Wright of Pflugerville, Texas; Marguerite Graham of Dallas, Texas; Dillard Graham of Sherman, Texas; LaVona Graham Slack of Estes Park, Colorado, and Flora Curtis of Carrollton, Texas. Miss Graham is also survived by numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements were under the care of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home.
