Most people will tell you McKinney, Texas is best known nationally for its explosive growth. But anyone at the 2009 Fall Fashion Show on October 15 at True Rumors in Adriatica will tell you the fashion scene may soon get equal billing.

The community of Adriatica in McKinney is building a reputation as "a New World adventure inspired by the beauty of and charm of Croatia."

True Rumors is the chic boutique located in Adriatica at Stonebridge Ranch in McKinney.

And the Croatian charm of Adriatica made the perfect setting for the 2009 True Rumors Fall Fashion Show on October 15.

Just as the sun went down October 15, guests took their seats and the runway lights went up on the stage set up in front of True Rumors. To the standing-room-only crowd's delight, dozens of models stepped smartly down the runway to display the latest fall fashions.

This impressive fashion show was a collaboration between McKinney Performing Arts Center (MPAC) and True Rumors, a spacious boutique featuring 3,800 square feet packed with the latest designs by Didier Parakian, Yoana Baraschi, Nicole Miller, A.G., Chip and Pepper, Poleci and Saja.

MPAC and True Rumors will join forces again November 22 to bring Grammy Award-winner Paula Cole, the sultry brunette who sang "Where Have All the Cowboys Gone," to the Courtroom Theater stage at McKinney Performing Arts Center.
