The Lady Hornets fell a little short on Tuesday night against the No. 8 Detroit Lady Eagles (22-25, 20-25, 19-25). 

Senior Kayla Thompson had 12 service points, 5 digs and 10 assists.  Freshman Christi  Petty had 18 service points, 13 digs, 5 kills and 3 aces. 

Freshman Misty Goodin had 7 service points, 6 digs and 13 assists. Freshman Rainy Goodin had 5 digs. 

Freshman Briann Hilliard had 13 kills and 5 blocks.  Freshman Alex Hilliard had 9 service points, 13 kills and 9 blocks. 

Dodd City will play at 6pm Friday at Roxton.
