The Paris Lady Cats beat the Sanger Lady Indians, 3-1, in bi-district and now Paris will take on Carrollton Farmers Branch Ranchview in the area round in McKinney at 7:00 p.m. Friday.

Barring an upset, an interesting match between Paris and Prosper is looming on the horizon in a Region II-3A Quarterfinal match tentatively scheduled for Nov. 9-10.

Barring an upset, an interesting match between Paris and Prosper is looming on the horizon in a Region II-3A Quarterfinal match tentatively scheduled for Nov. 9-10.

The number one seed out of District 10-3A, the Commerce Lady Tigers, drew a bye in the first round and will face Kennedale in the area round Saturday, November 7 at 7:00 p.m. in Garland Sachse.  Glancing ahead, a showdown between Commerce and Argyle seems likely in another Region II-3A Quarterfinal match.

Farmersville's Fighting Lady Farmers swept Mineola in bi-district and advance to challenge perennial powerhouse Texarkana Pleasant Grove in the area round of the playoffs.  Pleasant Grove won that match and advances to take on Eustace in the quarterfinals.

The fourth quarterfinal match will almost certainly feature No. 1 Lucas Lovejoy and Emory Rains.

The four teams that advance out of the quarterfinals will square off in the Region II-3A Semifinals at Texas A&M University-Commerce on Friday, November 13.

The top two teams out of Region II-3A will take the court in Commerce on Saturday, November 14 to see which team represents the region in the final four.
