Fannin County Sheriff’s Office Report for 10-13-2009

10-11-09: Sheriff’s deputies were advised of a stolen vehicle occupied by tswo runaway juveniles from Missouri. Deputy Barker located the vehicle in the southeastern part of the County parked in a private drive. Both juveniles, one male and one female, were also observed in close proximity of the reported stolen vehicle. The juveniles were contacted by the deputy and found to be the subjects that were runaways from the state of Missouri. Both individuals were detained and subsequently brought the sheriff’s office. The 2 juveniles were later taken to the juvenile detention center.

10-08-09: Deputies responded to a possible motor vehicle accident on FM 898 and FM 2645. When deputies arrived they contacted an individual who told them he had run off the road attempting to avoid some animals that were crossing the road. While speaking with the individual he was found to be intoxicated. The subject was arrested for public intoxication and no driver’s license.

10-12-09: Deputies responded to a disturbance call in the Dodd City area. The complainant was contacted and told the deputies that his girlfriend had been drinking all day and was intoxicated. Complainant also advised the deputies that his girlfriend had been throwing furniture through windows in their house. Deputies observed a van that had been involved in an accident in close proximity to house where both parties lived. This vehicle was found to belong to the girlfriend of the complainant. One of the responding deputies was able to locate the female involved in the incident and found her to be extremely intoxicated as well as having suffered injuries from the vehicle accident. The female was detained by deputies. EMS personnel observed the female and found that she had sustained injuries from the accident. She was transported to the local hospital, treated for her injuries. A deputy sheriff followed the ambulance to the hospital. The female was treated at the hospital and subsequently taken into custody and booked into jail without any further incident.
