Songfest to feature nine area choirs

The Heights will host “Songfest,” benefiting the Network of Community Ministries, 6:30 p.m. Saturday, October 24.

The free concert will feature the Dallas Praise Jazz Orchestra and nine choirs from community churches, including Arapaho Road Baptist, Arapaho United Methodist, Church of the Epiphany Episcopal, First Baptist Richardson, First Presbyterian Richardson, Hamilton Park First Baptist, The Heights Baptist, Messiah Lutheran and St. Luke Lutheran.

Admission is free with open seating. Doors will open at 6 p.m. An offering will be taken to benefit the Network of Community Ministries. More info at www.thenetwork.org.
