Fannin County Sheriff’s Office daily: 10-05-2009

Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the complainant regarding a theft that occurred on CR 4525. Complainant advised deputy that the rental property had been damaged. Suspect(s) removed copper from an air conditioning unit located at the residence. Complainant told deputy cost for replacement of the A/C unit would be approximately $4000. No further information available.

Sheriff’s Office was contacted by complainant regarding Credit Card Abuse. Complainant stated he received a statement from his card holder and found unauthorized purchases had been made by some unknown individual(s) in Arkansas. Complainant had already contacted the retail store and was able to have the unauthorized purchases removed. Case is under investigation.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Bailey area regarding an alleged assault that had occurred. Two male individuals were contacted regarding the alleged assault. The subjects had gotten into an argument about who was and was not capable of driving a vehicle. Both subjects had been consuming alcohol. While speaking with the individuals, one of the parties spouse arrived at the scene. After speaking to all the individuals involved both parties involved were released to 2 other individuals and went to their respective homes.

Deputy responded to a theft call on FM898 in the Ector area. The complainant advised the responding deputy that unknown person(s) had stolen his riding lawnmower. The complainant advised the value of the lawnmower was $700.00. Case is under investigation.
