Southeastern Live Transfer Day set for Oct. 8

DURANT, Okla. ­-- Southeastern Live Transfer Day is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 8, on the campus of Southeastern Oklahoma State University.           

Transfer Day is an opportunity for prospective students to explore the campus, visit with professors, meet Southeastern students, apply and enroll for classes. All students attending the event will get a free lunch and a Southeastern sackpack.

Students wishing to enroll on Transfer Day should apply for admission early. Application may be made online at www.
SE.edu/future-students/admissions-application/. The Office of Admissions will be open from 8-11 a.m. for "on-the-spot" admissions.           

Students should bring these required admission documents: High school transcript with ACT scores; official transcript from each college or university attended; application fee ($20, international students $55); and current semester class enrollment.           

A completed residence hall contract and $100 room deposit are required for those planning to live on campus.
           

Southeastern Transfer Day schedule:          

9-11 a.m. ­ Admissions and Financial Aid Open House, Administration Building, first floor           

11-11:30 a.m. ­ Registration and Check-In, Student Union Atrium, first floor           

11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. ­ Welcome Session, Student Union Auditorium, second floor           

12:30-1:30 p.m. ­ Browse Session and Lunch in the Loft, Student Union Loft, second floor

1:30-2 p.m. ­ Department presentations           

2-5 p.m. ­ Advising/Enrollment sessions with departments (can also visit financial aid, admissions, residence life if necessary)           

Campus and Residence Hall tours will leave from the Student Union Atrium at 10 a.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
