DURANT, Okla. -- Southeastern Oklahoma State University will celebrate Parents, Family and Friends Day on Saturday, Sept. 26, when the Savage Storm hosts Northwestern Oklahoma State University in a 2 p.m. football game.
Southeastern's Office of Student Life will begin the day's activities with a 10 a.m. Brunch on the Lawn with interim president Larry Minks, Southeastern faculty, friends, and University staff.
The President's Leadership Class will host a program, "Are You Smarter Than A Freshman?" at 10:30 a.m. Other entertainment includes performances by the Chorvettes musical group and the Sparks dance team, the Southeastern cheerleaders and the University Marching Band.
The Savage Storm team-walk from the fountain to the locker room is scheduled for 11 a.m. The band will warm up and perform briefly before a 1:30 p.m. march to Paul Laird Field for the game.
