Dallas,TX (September 15, 2009)- The 2009 Health and Education conference, "Aging and Memory in Our Diverse Community," will be held Saturday, September 19, 2009, beginning at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 3:00 p.m. at the Concord Baptist Church located at 6808 Pastor Bailey Drive, Dallas, TX 75237.
The conference will assist participants in identifying ways to prevent, diagnose and treat illnesses that cause memory loss. The conference offers information, services, and resources regarding memory loss. Pre-registration is $10, and an additional $25 for professionals who want CEUs (social work, LPC, LTC administrators, CNAs and Activity Directors). All fees include materials, refreshments, and lunch. Scholarships are available for family caregivers who cannot afford to pay.
