The family of Jack Morris has only taken a couple of days off from searching for the missing Fannin County man since he disappeared August 12 and that was only to join volunteers searching for Katie Jo Brewer, a Bonham woman with dementia that walked away from her residence on Carpenter Loop in the early hours of September 12.
The Morris family could fully understand the duress facing the Brewer family.
So far, both massive searches have failed to turn up either Brewer or Morris.
Wayne Walker, Chief Investigator for the Fannin County Sheriff's Office, says Morris, 48, was last seen at approximately 10:00 p.m. on August 12.
Law enforcement personnel would later find the vehicle Morris was reported to be driving. The vehicle was found approximately four miles from the missing man's residence, parked west of the intersection of FM271 and FM1550, near where the old Cotton Center cotton gin was once located.
The Morris family continues to devote as much time as possible to their month-old search.
