’Roo volleyball enters Top 25

SHERMAN, Texas – The Austin College volleyball team cracked the American Volleyball Coaches Association Top 25 poll for the first time this season, entering into this week’s poll at No. 25 in the nation, the AVCA announced today.  The ’Roos are one of four Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference teams to be ranked this week. 

Austin College went 5-0 last week to improve to 10-1 overall, winning with ease over Sul Ross State twice and also UT-Tyler, East Texas Baptist and Mary Hardin-Baylor.  Also ranked this week from the SCAC are Colorado College at No. 11, Trinity University at No. 14 and Southwestern University at No. 20. 

Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
