Dodd City – Texas, September 3, 2009 – “We’re gearing up for one of our biggest fundraisers of the year,” says Hannah’s Founder and Executive Director Janice Mills. “We are proud that Hannah’s is entering our 7th year of serving the community, although maintaining the funding level we need to operate is certainly not easy!”

The Annual Golf Benefit will again be held at the Bonham Golf and Country Club with the format a 4-person Scramble with a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m. Cost to play is $55 per player which includes a continental breakfast, practice facility, boxed lunch, 18 holes of golf with cart plus snacks and beverages. A team entry (four players) costs $220.

A range of sponsorship opportunities are available – from prize donations, to hole sponsors to a Title Sponsorship for the event. Sponsors will be supporting a wonderful cause and receive significant positive publicity – outlined in the sponsorship packages – surrounding the event .

Hannah’s has secured some exciting vacation packages as raffle prizes. The top prize is a five night, four day Cancun getaway – deluxe accommodation at a beachfront resort and other prizes – five of them – include getaways with three fun-filled days and two nights at other fun destinations like Orlando, Florida, Branson, Missouri or St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.

Hannah’s Horseshoes of Hope is a horseback riding therapy program serving the Red River Region including Grayson, Fannin, Lamar and surrounding counties. HHH was founded in March of 2002 by Janice Mills and named for her granddaughter Hannah Sue, who was born with Down’s Syndrome. HHH is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit program and is a member of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association.
