Last weekend the Tom Bean Wastewater Plant had an uninvited visitor show up and somehow accidently fall into one of the racetracks. As the cow was discovered early in the morning, the Police were alerted along with the Tom Bean Fire Department. Within an hour, the cow was hoisted out of the murky water and staggered off to meet up with the rest of the herd.
A special thanks goes out to the Police Department and Tom Bean Fire Department volunteers who came out quickly to save the cow from a near drowning accident.

Without volunteers like the members of the Tom Bean Fire Department, small cities would suffer greatly and they are to be commended for coming out on this very, very hot day to rescue the cow.
Hats off to the Tom Bean Fire Department!
