Goodness knows in today’s world, we all need some comic relief, so here’s your chance to laugh it up.  Follow the funny trail to “Funny Side Up” on Friday, July 24 at 7pm and Saturday, July 25 at 8 pm at the Old Windom School in Windom, east of Bonham and three blocks south of Highway 56.  Tickets are $6 at the door.

This promises to be a fun-filled night of original comedy. Audiences will be treated to some “old favorites” in the acting lineup, plus some new faces as well. Director Gary Sisson is super-charged with excitement about the show.

“This collaborative effort from our group comes at a propitious time. Our economic recovery may be sluggish, but there is nothing sluggish about our show. I promise there’s a laugh for everyone in this comedic variety event,” Sisson said. “Our brightest and best have gone all out to ensure great entertainment.”

Though this is RRCT’s first all-comedy production, the idea has been in the works for several years. A few new faces urged the old guard to tap their funny bones and get to work. The result features sketches like Sno-White Laundry, the KRRT Newscast, and a new game show - What Is The Question? There are also stand-up artists, mimes and a little music thrown in.

So, don’t forget to mark your calendars for Friday and Saturday, July 24th and 25th. Please note Friday’s show begins at 7 p.m. and Saturday’s show begins at 8 p.m. All tickets on sale at the door. Bring your funny bones and warm up your smiling muscles for Funny Side Up.
