Officer Larry Rittenhouse was presented with a "Reserve of the Year" plaque from Chief Michael Webster at the Monday night City Council meeting in Tom Bean.  Officer Rittenhouse has been with the Tom Bean Police Department since January 2008 and has proven to be a great asset to the department.

Even though Larry has a full time job and a family, he still finds time to come, without fail, to work in Tom Bean every Thursday.  Larry has taken vacation from his other job just to come out and help with activities around the city.  At the present time, Officer Rittenhouse is working to get all UCR (Uniform Crime Reporting) up to date for the department.

Larry has proven that he would do anything for the city and will always play a major role in the success of the Tom Bean Police Department.  The city of Tom Bean is very fortunate to have an officer of this caliber on staff.
