The final stages are being completed on the reconstruction/painting of the downtown water tower at Tom Bean. The new glossy white paint and new logos on both sides of the tower makes the tower stand out like a beacon for all who pass through the city.
Phase II of the ORCA grant is in work at this time replacing old water lines coming into the downtown water tower area along with new fire hydrants replacing many of the old hydrants around the city. Much activity has been going on in the city over the past month and residents are excited to see the changes and welcome the newly painted water tower/new logos as Tom Bean Tomcats play a vital role in the city and schools.
