Trenton ISD has scheduled Pre-K and Kindergarten registration for the 2008-2009 school year for the week of April 6-10.  Enrollment packets may be picked up in the elementary office from 9:00 to 11:00 and 1:00 to 3:00. 

Pre-Kindergarten will be an all day program open to any child that is 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2009.  Qualifications for Pre-K are: (1) must be 4 years of age and, (2) unable to speak and comprehend the English language or, (3) meet economic qualifications or, (4) be a child of an active member of the military forces or, (5) homeless.  All other students will be enrolled on a tuition basis.  The estimated tuition cost should be no more than $250 per month for 10 months.  The tuition based enrollment may be canceled if the minimum number requirement is not met. 

The Kindergarten classes are open to all students that will be 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2009. 

To be eligible to start school a student MUST have on file (1) State certified birth certificate, (2) Social Security Card, and (3) Current immunization records.  All paperwork must be returned before any child will be registered for the classes.
