The Savoy Lady Cardinals traveled to Lindsay on Saturday to take on the Lady Knights.
Lindsay outscored Savoy 11-7 in the first quarter, but Savoy played them even the second quarter as they went into halftime down 21-17. Savoy came out cold in the third as Lindsay took a 32-23 lead that was part of their 10 point run. Lindsay lead 37-23 early in the fourth, but Savoy picked up their defense and caused some key turnovers that lead to an 11-4 run. The Lady Cardinals waited just a little too long as they fell short, 41-34.
Destiny Moore lead the Lady Cards with 16 points, Marquin Malone chipped in with 7, Whitney Cooke finished with 6, Lauren Camp contributed 4, and Carissa Dillon had 1 point.
This was a good warm-up game as the Lady Cardinals move in to district play on Tuesday with an away game at Fannindel.
