The Savoy Cardinals finished basketball play at the Cumby Holiday Tournament with a second place finish.  The tournament format was a round robin, so everyone played each other and the best records took the top spots.

The Cards played Como-Pickton in their first game and feel short as they lost by nine,  40-49. The second game was between the Cards and Cumby for the third time this season. The Cards came out on top 45-40.  The third game of the tournament put the Cards against the Cumby JV as the Cards came out with a 49-18 victory.  The Como-Pickton Eagles took the first place honors and the Savoy Cardinals took the second place honors.
