Hunters are now prohibited from using firearms to hunt large game in the Lake Fannin Unit of the Caddo National Grasslands, according to an order signed by Forest Supervisor Fred Salinas.

The order allows bow hunting for whitetail deer and feral hogs and no larger than No. 4 shot for small game.

For more information on hunting restrictions, contact Caddo National Grasslands District Ranger Jim Crooks at 940-627-5475.
