McKINNEY, Texas (Oct. 9, 2008) – The Second Saturday activities on Oct. 11 in downtown McKinney will feature more outdoor activities, thanks to the city’s complete infrastructure project on the downtown square.

“We want to reintroduce the new downtown to all of the patrons at this Second Saturday. Improvements like wider sidewalks, new landscaping and more parking all make it a more convenient, festive and pedestrian friendly event,” said Main Street Program Director Ty Lake.

In addition to outdoor live entertainment and extended shopping hours, below are some of the highlights you can expect to see this coming Second Saturday:

Featured artists will be at downtown galleries.

Shop around and relax.

Live entertainment will be the backdrop for the many dining options downtown.
