The Cherokee Civic Theatre has started selling tickets to their fall musical, Brigadoon. The beginning of the ticket sales also ushers in a new ticketing system for the theatre. Bill Sherman, Vice President of Ticketing, has said the new system "is state of the art." This system will allow patrons to purchase tickets online from the Civic Theatre's website, www.cherokeetheatre.net. Phone reservations will still be accepted at (903) 683-2131 as well as walk-ins at 157 West 5th Street.
Ticket prices are $9 for adults, $6 for students and will be available at the door on show days for $10.
Carol Dillard, VP of Membership also encourages patrons, and those interested in being placed on the theatre's mailing list to call the theatre at (903) 683-2131 and leave their new 911 addresses. Dillard explains, "Don't forget, the best way to get the best tickets is to become a patron. We are still accepting memberships and would encourage everyone to become a patron today!"
Performance dates are October 9, 10, 11, 12, 17 and 18. All performance will be at the historic Cherokee Civic Theatre, located next to the Post Office in beautiful downtown Rusk, TX.
The Cherokee Civic Theatre is constantly looking for volunteers. If you've ever wondered what happens behind the scenes, call the theatre at (903) 683-2131 and come see what we're doing. It's also never too late to become a season patron. Call the theatre at the number above, or log onto: www.cherokeetheatre.net to find out about the benefits of becoming a season patron today!
